Netflix maybe the next Bitcoin Fortune 100 Investor Company says Tim Draper, the tech billionaire
Tim Draper who is a venture capitalist and Bitcoin bull believes that Netflix can be the next Fortune 100 company investor.
In a recent talk in a podcast, Mr. Draper said that Netflix could be the next candidate to add Bitcoin to its balance sheet. He went on and said that he believes Netflix co-founder, co-CEO, Reed Hastings, agrees with him:
“I think Reed Hastings is a very innovative guy and has a lot of creative thinking and I think he still controls the reins at Netflix. And so, I think that might be the next big one to fall.”<
Even he said that he would advise all the major firms to allot a share of their capital to Bitcoin if he were the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of those firms. He also compared BTC and talked about its uses:
“If I’m the CFO of one of those big organizations, I am saying ‘We have to own X % in Bitcoin’ because it’s a hedge against another currency becoming the currency of the future, and it’s also a hedge against inflation as governments keep printing more of their funny money dollars.”
The Bitcoin enthusiast Giants of social media like Facebook, Google, and Apple were working on developing their centralized currency and they tended to also include cryptocurrencies in their platform. But he believes that Amazon is going to embrace Bitcoin soon.
“Google could do something but I think that all of them, Google and Facebook and Apple are all trying to… create a currency that’s centralized, that’s theirs. And Amazon. Although Amazon will probably start accepting Bitcoin pretty soon…”
In fact, the reason behind recent Bitcoin’s surge is the billionaires and institutions that have shown interest in Bitcoin. Billionaires like Ilon Musk, Stanley Druckenmiller, and Paul Tudor, and companies like Tesla, Microstrategy, Square, and Paypal and their endorsements of Bitcoin led others to believe in Bitcoin and consequently, Bitcoin’s price surged.
